Pass this on

Welcome to, where Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans, Baptists, Calvinists, Pentecostals, Methodists…., and people of other faith traditions and none, can explore and share our common early Christian heritage.

The Pre-reformation Christian era spans roughly a 1500 year period from the time of Christ’s ministry until the Protestant Reformation. A great deal happened in this epoch, starting with the earliest Christians who for 2 centuries secretly broke bread in their homes. By the 4th century AD there were the Church Councils that decided on the books of the Holy Bible, and during this period Christianity was legalised in the Roman Empire and spread to the four corners of the earth. In the intervening centuries there have been many triumphs and tragedies leading to the 16th century Protestant Reformation, and the subsequent Catholic Counter-Reformation.

Jesus said ‘Seek and ye shall find’ (Mat 7:7), we can and must seek our Lord and Saviour in the Bible, in prayer and worship, we can also seek him in the life’s of fellow Christians, those alive and those departed.
